PaperShell has appointed Roberto Monti and Fredrik Westerberg to the board of directors. The appointments were made following the company’s Annual General Meeting held in Stockholm on 26 May 2025.
Roberto Monti has held several top executive roles in the furniture and retail industries, including CEO of Italian design company Arper. At IKEA, he has served as President of IKEA Concept, President of IKEA South East Europe, and CEO & Country Manager of IKEA Italia. He has also acted as senior advisor and board member for organizations such as ITAB Group and AIDAF, and is the founding director of the “Respect & Dialogue” initiative supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Roberto Monti
Fredrik Westerberg has held key leadership roles in the global manufacturing and automotive industry, including Engineering and Projects Director at Gestamp’s startup plant in the Czech Republic, Tooling Maintenance Manager and Global Launch Team Responsible at Gestamp Hardtech, and project manager for delivery to Gestamp Asia for VW and PSA. Program manager for OEM for Volvo. He has also worked at the Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE) and currently serves as CEO of Wibax Production AB. From 2022 to 2025, he served as Chief Production Officer at PaperShell, where he was responsible for the development and execution of Factory 1.
